There are three main types of tantric practice
The Tantra of consciousness ( white tantra ) reveals the ground of awareness itself and leads to self realization or waking up as pure Spirit.
The Tantra of the heart ( rose tantra ) reveals the essential nature of Love that leads to the embrace of dualities and identification with all life.
The Tantra of the body and sexuality ( red tantra or black ) grounds awareness fully into form, reveals the sacredness of matter and generates creativity and vitality.
Shamballa Tantra works to synthesize and harmonize these three paths and the three essential fires – the fire of spirit, the fire of love, and the fire of matter into their mutual origin – the essential divinity that lies behind the trinity.
It is a radical path in the true sense of that word – it goes to the root – our essential divine presence and makes this the centre of our practice.

Our Mytho-Poetic Story
Shamballa Tantra – the spirit of the universe having spent 14 billion years evolving complex forms and consciousness directed part of its attention to a small planet in the Milky Way galaxy upon which life forms had reached a critical stage in their evolutionary development. This spirit had always been present coiled up in and as creation as well as flowing gently along currents called spiritual traditions and lineages which were like entry points into human consciousness. As the planet reached a crisis point in its evolution this evolutionary impulse sent a sudden charge of energy to enable the consciousness and forms of its creation to make a necessary transition. Part of this charge would result in the human beings on the planet awakening to themselves as an expression of that impulse with a unique cosmic destiny to fulfill. This charge resulted in the empowerment of existing forms of consciousness that were conducive to receiving it and the crystallization and extinction of forms that were outdated. A great proliferation of new pathways or openings to this impulse also were generated and knew themselves to be one in essence, many in expression. One of these new forms was Shamballa Tantra.
Rather than a river that flows along between clearly defined banks, this manifestation was more like a soul grenade that was designed to help ignite the nuclear fuel that already exists in the core of individuals, couples and groups. To inner eyes this energy appears as a blue white fire emerging out of the void and flashing forth like lightning, evoking the same fire in the centre of nodes in the already existing planetary network of light. It is a flaming diamond that draws forth the diamond soul in others. It is a magnetic current that causes all opposites to rise and fall deeply in love with each other in a tantric dance. It is a flame of freedom, a transmission of cosmic electricity, a primary revelation. It burns brightly in electric conflagration for a time and then collapses in on itself like a supernova to form an invisible black hole in the fabric of space time.
